FireFTP — WOW!
I hate FTP Clients. Majorly. For the most part, when I can get away with it, I use Explorer (not IE) on windows to upload files to various sites.
My main reason for this dislike? Paying. I can’t seem to find a good FTP client that allows me to simply do what I want when I need to without constant reminders of “Oh, hey, this is free—but could ya pay us anyways?!” Ugh. Well my quest for a simple, straight-to-the-point FTP has finally come to an end!
Introducing FireFTP! It’s an in-browser FTP client that works just the same as all of your individual programs. Except its totally free. And you don’t have to have an additional program running on your computer. Need to upload a file really quick to a client’s site? No problem-o, just go to your tools menu in FireFox 3.0 and open FireFTP—it’ll open in a new tab and wah-lah, that file is uploaded!
I’m still working out all the features, but for what I need, it’s basic and straight to the point—me likey!
